The Skin Studio Chelsfield
The Skin Studio Chelsfield is a home-based skincare treatment studio located at 29 Crown Road, Chelsfield, Kent BR6 6JN. The Skin Studio is operated by Ellen Diamond, a VTCT qualified skincare therapist. This is a sole trader business and is not a medical facility.
All treatments are provided for relaxation and skincare purposes only. The Skin Studio is fully insured and operates in compliance with relevant UK health and safety regulations.
Appointments are booked online through the website or by contacting The Skin Studio directly via email or phone. Bookings are only confirmed once a deposit has been received and payment processed successfully.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking within 24 hours. Please check this carefully to ensure all details are correct. If you do not receive a confirmation, contact The Skin Studio immediately on 07734 390100 or ellen@theskinstudiochelsfield.co.uk.
To reschedule an appointment, contact The Skin Studio at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability. If you reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited.
A deposit is required to secure your appointment. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking and will form part of the total treatment cost. Accepted payment methods are card (debit or credit) and bank transfer.
The balance of payment is due in full on the day of your treatment. Cash, card (debit or credit), and bank transfer are accepted.
Payment receipts will be provided upon request.
In exceptional circumstances, The Skin Studio may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. You will be notified as soon as possible, and your deposit will be transferred to a future appointment or refunded in full.
Before your first treatment, you are required to complete a health declaration form. This is a mandatory consultation and must be completed accurately and honestly. All information you provide will be kept confidential in accordance with data protection regulations.
You must inform The Skin Studio of any changes to your health or medications between your consultation and treatment. This includes new skin conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or other relevant medical changes.
The Skin Studio reserves the right to refuse treatment if contraindications are present, if the health declaration form is incomplete or inaccurate, or if continuing with treatment could pose a risk to your health and safety. In such cases, your deposit will be refunded in full.
All treatments provided by The Skin Studio are for relaxation and skincare purposes only and are not a substitute for medical advice or professional medical treatment.
Results vary and are dependent on individual skin type, lifestyle, home care, and other factors. No guarantees of specific outcomes are made. Skincare improvements are progressive and may require multiple treatments and consistent home care to become visible.
If you have any diagnosed skin condition or medical concern, please consult your GP before booking a treatment. The Skin Studio cannot treat active infections, severe inflammation, or open skin lesions.
Certain treatments are not suitable for clients with specific contraindications, including (but not limited to) pregnancy, severe acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, sunburn, or any condition in which you are taking medications that affect the skin. Your consultation form will identify any restrictions.
You are responsible for following all aftercare advice provided by The Skin Studio after your treatment. Aftercare instructions will be given both verbally and in writing at the end of your appointment.
The Skin Studio is not liable for any adverse skin reactions, irritation, or sensitivity that occur if aftercare instructions are not followed. Common aftercare practices include avoiding makeup, sun exposure, perfumed products, and hot water for 24 hours following treatment.
If you experience an unexpected reaction, contact The Skin Studio immediately and seek medical advice if necessary.
All clients must be 16 years or older. Clients under 18 years must have written parental or guardian consent before their first treatment. Proof of parental consent must be provided in writing and kept on file.
The Skin Studio is a home-based studio. Clients are expected to treat the space and The Skin Studio with respect. Respectful behaviour is required at all times.
The Skin Studio reserves the right to refuse service to any client who exhibits disruptive, aggressive, or disrespectful behaviour, or who breaches these terms and conditions.
Clients attending appointments from outside the household must comply with any reasonable request or instruction given by The Skin Studio.
No photographs or video recordings will be taken during any appointment without your explicit prior written consent. If you consent to having before and after photographs taken for The Skin Studio's social media or marketing materials, you can withdraw this consent at any time by providing written notice to The Skin Studio.
Before and after photographs will be stored securely and used only for the purposes consented to by you. You retain the right to request the deletion of any photographs at any time, and The Skin Studio will comply with this request within 14 days.
The Skin Studio is fully insured. However, The Skin Studio is not liable for:
You attend The Skin Studio at your own risk. The Skin Studio takes all reasonable precautions to ensure your safety and comfort.
Gift vouchers are available and must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase. Gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable except as required by law. The value of a gift voucher does not carry forward if the full balance is not used in a single appointment. Unused vouchers will expire and no refund will be provided.
Your personal information is collected and stored in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. The Skin Studio reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be published on the website and clients will be notified of significant changes by email. Your continued use of The Skin Studio's services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
