Microneedling in progress at The Skin Studio Chelsfield, near Orpington

Looking for microneedling near Orpington?

The Skin Studio is a calm, private home studio in Chelsfield (BR6), just a few minutes from Orpington, offering professional microneedling — collagen induction therapy — tailored to your skin by Ellen, a VTCT-qualified skincare and facial therapist.

Orpington is our nearest town, so many of our clients are right on the doorstep. What brings them here is the setting: one appointment at a time, no rushing, no upselling, and a treatment planned around your skin rather than a fixed protocol.

Microneedling is non-injectable — it works with your skin's own renewal rather than injecting anything into it — and we always assess your skin properly first, so we only go ahead when it's genuinely the right choice for you.

What microneedling can help with

Microneedling is a versatile treatment, well suited to improving the appearance of a range of common skin concerns.

  • Skin texture and roughness
  • Enlarged or visible pores
  • Fine lines and early signs of ageing
  • Dullness and lack of radiance
  • Overall tone, firmness and healthier-looking skin

Why Orpington clients choose The Skin Studio

If you've been searching for microneedling in Orpington, you've probably found the busier town-centre clinics. We're a quieter, more considered alternative, right on your doorstep: a private home studio where it's one client at a time, and where the honest answer about whether microneedling is even right for you matters more than filling a diary.

Because it's a home studio and strictly by appointment, there's no town-centre parking faff and no waiting room — just Ellen's full attention. And because microneedling works best as part of a plan, we'll always be upfront: for some concerns it can make a real difference; for others there's a better place to start, and we'll say so.

New to us? We start with a consultation

If we haven't met before, microneedling starts with a proper £30 skin suitability consultation: thirty minutes with Ellen to look at your skin, talk through what you'd like to achieve and check it's suitable. That £30 comes off your treatment or course afterwards, and consultations are bookable online now. If you're already a client, you won't need one and can book straight in online.

Microneedling pairs beautifully with Dermalux LED light therapy to keep recovery calm and comfortable, and with Circadia homecare to help you get the most from your results. You can see the full picture, including pricing and how booking works, on the main microneedling page.

Suitability & safety: microneedling isn't right for everyone, and we always need to have seen your skin in person first, either at a consultation or at a previous appointment. Certain skin conditions, medications (such as recent isotretinoin/Roaccutane), pregnancy and other factors can mean it isn't appropriate, and we'll always talk this through honestly and recommend the safest, most suitable plan for your skin. Microneedling is non-injectable; we don't offer injectables of any kind.

Microneedling near Orpington: your questions

Do you offer microneedling near Orpington?

Yes. We're a calm, private home studio in Chelsfield (BR6), right on Orpington's doorstep, and microneedling is now on the menu. Orpington is our nearest town, so lots of our clients are local. If we haven't met before, you'll start with a £30 skin suitability consultation, which is fully redeemable against your treatment or course. If you're already a client, you won't need one, and consultations are bookable online.

How far is the studio from Orpington?

Just a few minutes. The studio is in Chelsfield, a short drive or quick bus ride from Orpington town centre, and Chelsfield is the next stop along from Orpington station by train. We'll send you the exact address and directions when you book.

What is microneedling?

Microneedling uses very fine needles to create thousands of tiny micro-channels in the skin, which encourages it to repair and renew itself. Over a course of treatments, that can leave skin looking smoother, brighter and more even. It's non-injectable and works with your skin's own renewal rather than injecting anything into it.

What does microneedling help with?

We most often recommend it for things like uneven-looking texture, enlarged-looking pores, dullness and early signs of ageing, as well as how well your skincare absorbs afterwards. Whether it's right for you really depends on your skin and your goals, which is exactly what we'll work out together at a consultation.

Is there any downtime with microneedling?

Most people have some redness and warmth afterwards, a bit like mild sunburn, which usually settles within a day or two. We'll give you clear aftercare, and we can pair treatments with Dermalux LED to keep recovery comfortable. We'll confirm exactly what to expect at your consultation.

How do I book microneedling?

If we haven't met before, microneedling starts with a £30 skin suitability consultation, so we can look at your skin properly and check it's right for you.
