Why do pores look larger and texture feel uneven?
Pore size is mostly down to your genes, but pores tend to look bigger when oil and dead skin collect in them, and as skin naturally loses a little firmness over the years they can look more obvious still.
Uneven, bumpy texture is usually a build-up of dead skin on the surface, sometimes alongside marks left behind once a breakout has settled. The reassuring part is that this responds well to the right care. We can't permanently change the size of your pores, but with regular treatment and a bit of consistency we can genuinely make your skin look smoother, softer and more even.

Our facials use professional Circadia skincare and gentle exfoliation to lift away that surface build-up, smoothing the look of texture and refining how visible pores appear, and we often pair this with Dermalux LED for a healthier-looking finish. From August 2026 we're adding microneedling, which works deeper to support smoother-looking texture and the appearance of scarring over a course.

Yes. Regular facials with gentle exfoliation, often alongside Dermalux LED, can smooth the look of uneven texture and refine how visible pores appear. It builds up gradually, and a simple routine at home keeps it going.
Will microneedling help scarring and texture?
Microneedling joins our menu in August 2026, and it's one of the better options for softening the look of texture, enlarged pores and scarring over a course. Until then, the Signature Facial with Dermalux LED is a lovely way to start refining the skin's surface. Deeper or pitted scarring is best looked at by a clinic or dermatologist.
What's the best treatment for texture right now?

Can you get rid of scars completely?
We can soften the appearance of scarring and help your skin look smoother and healthier, but no facial or treatment removes scars completely, and we'd never tell you otherwise. Deeper, pitted or raised scarring is best assessed by a clinic or dermatologist, and we'll always be straight with you about what's realistic.
